ELK MOTOR was designated as extension of product family and founded in Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone by main shareholder Yılmaz Redüktör AŞ, on 50.000 m2 closed area over 135.000 m2 of total land. ELK Motor manufactures variety of asynchronous electric motors between Frame size 63 and 315 and complying to standard high efficiency classifications as IE2, IE3 and IE4 made available to customer requirements.

All motor series are designed in accordance with European standards and are produced in IE4, IE3 and IE2 efficiency classes and made available to customers.

In addition, from the very first day, since our motors are already designed to meet the IE3 efficiency class in terms of basic design and technology, they provide a seamless and easy transition of IE2 to IE3 efficiency to the existing customers, all thanks to the same mechanical dimensions of offered IE2 and IE3 motors.

Apart from our standard motors manufactured in accordance with European standards, we also make special motors purely designed according to customer specific demands, gives our customers an advantage in terms of performance and cost and more importantly a reliable solution.

ELK Motors are manufactured in our factory in Çerkezköy with all processes from engineering R&D to metal forming, casting to sheet metal processing and windings. Shafts, housings and covers are all processed in fully automatic CNC machines, under supervision of continuous quality control where the rotor and stator packages are punched in automatic locking lamination molds.

Then, rotor packages are molded in automatic injection machines and made into rotor shaft groups, while stator packages are made ready for installation by varnishing them in VPI (Vacuum  Pressure  Impregnation) process depending on the need and usage area after winding has been completed in automatic winding machines.

Only then, all manufactured motors are always guaranteed to reach the best levels in terms of quality, reliability, durability and performance. After all these procedures, all of our motors, which are assembled in accordance with their BOMs, are packed and ready for shipment only after passing the 100% final control and test stages.

In addition, ELK MOTOR have the quality management systems and product certificates, also for customers’ convenience. Our quality system is certified with ISO 9001 and our products are certified by UL.
